Barnabé LAYE, poet and novelist, is considered to be one of the important voices of the current generation of writers in French language. Hospital physician, he juggled his two vocations.
Long a guest at major poetry festivals and literary events around the world, in Latin America, Canada, Africa and Europe, he died in Paris on April 3, 2024.
His work is remarkable for its style and the singular music that runs through the lines. As if rhythms and assonances invited us to share the flavor of words and speech. Some of his books are translated into English, Spanish and Brazilian.
Some of the works of Barnabé LAYE are subject to academic work.
